Vehicle Detail
Rare 1932 Ford Cabriolet (roll-up windows/foldingtop) "all Henry steel" styled in the 50's. This 'East Coast" style HotRod was built in a PA driveway in 1957 and went on to be a magazine cover car in April 1960.The body was channeled 8" over a boxed/reinforced frame with custom louvered hood, nerf bar bumpers, hand made grille, bobbed fenders,'37 Packard windshield, canvas folding top with leather hold downs and custom tuck&roll interior is a piece of 50's style history. The current drive train is from a '70 Z-28 with a LT-1 350ci,Turbo 400 tranny and positraction rear end.Rescued in 2008 from PA collector where it has sat since 1985.Freshened up mechanically for NorCal freeways and have driven to 25 shows the last two years. I have decided that at the age of 68 I need some comfort in my life...no more short wheelbase cars...time to grow up and stop complaining about my bones after a 500 mile road trip....If you are looking for a "real Deuce" driver, not a concours plactic replica, please email me for more info. I am the fifth owner of this piece of history and have a scrapbook of photos, articles, magazines dating back to the junkyard photos in 1954. I have lowered the price.Ukiah, CA. is 2 hrs north of San Francisco.
