Vehicle Detail

1972 Olds cutlass supreme. 350 engine /350 trans, factory air conditioning that still worked this summer. This is an Adult owned car and I am the second owner. Very nice car. Runs and drives great. 90000 miles. We are only selling because we just Adopted and trying to cut back. If someone is wanting a cutlass with a 455 then I have a running good 455 that I would sell with the car for $700 extra (come here it run). I would drive the car anywhere. Please call with any questions. This is a steal at $5000 I wont take any less $$ so don't ask. 208-983-7477 Thanks, Mike Understandably so, everyone wants to know about any rust. A couple of years ago I had some rust fixed under the vinal top below rear window. There is no evidence of anything trying to come back. This car is amazingly clean and original. There has never been any other rust or rust repair done on the car anywhere. The underside is also amazing. I have a lift and can tell you it is a completely solid car underside and inside. The frame I doesnt even show a scrape. The only thing I would consider doing in the next couple of years for the car is a new vinyl top. It is showing some fading but still looks very nice. I was going to replace it but decided it would be best for new owner to choose the color of a new top. I had a quote of $500 to have an apolstery shop swap out the top. Dont mis understand though the top still looks very nice. The interior is very nice also. The only flaw in the interior is a tear in the drivers door panel about 1/4 inch long. Someone had done a vinyl repair on this spot before I owned car but An apolstery shop could do a better job to fix and hide the repair. These are the only things I can say negative about the car. It is so clean and straight. I live in a small rural area and so my options for selling the car are limited. Even so, when we were driving the car more often we had many people offering to purchase the car (when it wasnt for sale.) One family offered $7000 but now that the economy has slowed down I am selling for much less. I put car in the local small town car show this fourth of July and had it priced at $5000 and everyone thought it was "to cheap" or "priced to sell." I am telling this because I feel that at the price I am selling people are asking what is wrong with the car at this price? I will be taking more pictures on Friday and can send them out if you are not a "tire kicker" I dont have the best internet so sending pictures is difficult. Please send email address if this is something you would like. Please call with any questions.
