Vehicle Detail
1972 Datsun 240z 2nd owner- bought in Atlanta in 1996 from daughter of deceased Dad (original owner) All original minus weber dgv carbs and paint job (factory color) in early 80's. Sad to be selling but 3 kids playing six sports and myself coaching 4 just doesn't leave time for the baby. 92,000 miles We've had fun with car, my little guys love driving around neighborhood. This is my 5th z and had hopes of restoring and keeping forever but.....see above. Done very to little it- brakes, alternator, master cylinder, battery- thats it. Z runs good and drives nice. burns a little oil. Equipped with a/c but not operational. We want car to go to a good home! more pics upon request On Nov-14-10 at 15:17:45 PST, seller added the following information: pictures of floorboards look like they are rusty- not the case. the underside of floormats stuck to floor, and that is what is looking to be like rust On Nov-19-10 at 07:47:34 PST, seller added the following information: Ebay will not allow more pictures to be added or pictures to be swapped out, so I'll add them to a facebook page. Sorry for inconvenience. As stated, I bought car in Atlanta, where a brother was living at the time. The daughter said she may have original bill of sale, original title, etc. and would look for those items. Several months(years) later, she mailed those items to my brother, who forgot to tell me....until two days ago :) So, those items are being mailed and I will be posting pictures of those documents to facebook. REALLY COOL. This car has a nice history. George, the original owner, traded in a '66 CHARGER! for $750! and got the Z. You'll see that of the bill of sale...amazing. George was an airline mechanic for Delta and I've kept the small delta sticker on the front bumper in his honor. He raced it (stock) a little at Road Atlanta. The sale of the car after George's passing was emotional for his daughter Karla, and came to be emotional for me too. She more or less interviewed me for the right to buy the car. I send her a card every year with a picture of the car and my three kids,(8,9, 11) who've named the Z Fiona. They love it. I'd ask the new owner to stay in touch with Karla. Honestly, I'm sick about selling the Z as I write this... http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/profile.php?id=816933280&v=photos
