1989 PORSCHE 928S4 Black & Tan Automatic Mechanically She has just had a major servicing for the new owner and she runs, shifts and cruises wonderfully. Preventative maintenance performed last month (September 24, 2010) consisted of: Receipts for this work will be provided to new Owner. New Water PumpNew Timing BeltThermostatNew CoolantSerpentine BeltV-Belt The S4 is extremely responsive and tight and the 4 speed Automatic transmission shifts crisply as it should. The brakes perform very well. The Gauges are all working and No trouble or service lights are on. The idle is smooth as silk. I love 928s but especially the 32 valve variants and one can reasonable assume that these are the ones to have from a collector’s standpoint. This is a very nice car and priced well under similar cars. I made note that the sunroof is not opening I hear the motor working. There is light curbing on two rear wheels. Some of the light scratches and chips and paint imperfections will not show in the pictures but all of the pictures are 15 days old now so this is the current state of the paint. The paint is good overall but not concours level, being 21 years old it still has a deep rich shine, I would budget for light touch ups to make a show car. There is no evidence of rust now or ever on the car. The car histories confirm that the car has never been in an accident. The car tracks straight as an arrow and there is almost no squeaking or rattling anywhere as you drive down the road. There are drops of oil noticeable after the car has sat. The Headlights Lights go up and down as they should. The S4 also has a remote start device with two remotes but the batteries in the remotes need replacement. Inside the car is a delight, the soft glows from the interior lighting against the beautiful Palomino leather seats is very exotic. The seats are in fabulous shape for the age of the car and are very supple and rich looking. The sun visors are good and tight and the headliner is very nice.The Radio is a very nice Alpine head unit complete with Satellite radio (you have to subcribe to your provider for the satellite service) MP3 player. There is a neatly mounted ADS P440 amplifier which is superb for enhancing Alpine audio units. The Wipers work. I honestly wish I could keep this car it is an absolute delight to drive, look at, wipe on or just stop at a stop sign lower the window and listen to the motor run. I would like to sell one of my Porsches to cover some serious upgrades for another Porsche That is being tweaked so I am not looking to trade for another car (any car). This car runs and drives like a Dream and with the miles right she feels barely broken in. Aesthetically At first glance 928S4 conveys strong evidence of its great condition. The paint is naturally glossy for its 21 years as you can see, but not concours. she cleans up and presents herself very well but there are imperfections here and there. All of the pictures were taken in the last two weeks. The color combination is near unbeatable with a Black exterior and Palomino interior. The Engine bay is clean, neat and original. The interior is very nice by Any measure with nice clean Carpets and beautifully cared for seats in above average condition with no rips or tares on any seat. The dash looks great with minor hair line cracks directly above the instrument cluster. The car looks awesome from any of the four seats. The rear compartment, headliner and door panels are spectacular as well. With the Water Pump and Timing Belt and other preventative maintenance done just last month, luxurious interior this car is in great condition. Owners manual included as well. Correct mileage is 105163. Bid with Confidence!
