This auction is for an 1969 Beetle Classic. The odometer reads 82011 miles, but has definitely turned over. This California car has almost no rust on the body and only one minor rust hole in the floor. Of course it has some dents and dings, scratches and marks, but still has a lot of potential. It runs and drives very good. The engine must have been gone through or rebuilt, not too long ago. Carburetor, generator, heat exchangers, axle shafts and many other parts were replaced. To make it really nice, it would need some restoration. The engine lid is little dented from another motorist, I guess. The nose section, spare tire area has two little wrinkles, as you can see on the pics, but nothing major. This car is a good candidate to be restored. But you can drive it the way it is and everything works. It runs really great. Unfortunately, but not too concerning, this car has a California Salvaged Title. Please look very closely at the super size pictures to get an idea about the cars condition. California Residents will have to pay tax, license and transfer fees. Out of state buyers are exempt. Winning bidder has to pay within 7 days after auction end. A $200.00 PayPal deposit is required within 24 hours after auction end! I prefer to sell it for local pick up, but if you need it shipped national or international and arrange for it, I will help. Payment by cash for local pick up in person.
