Fuel cell modified w/racing foam (no sloshing or weight changes w/flicking. Billet cell cap. Custom seat designed for flick ability Custom light weight exhaust hanger. Rear view mirrors w/blinkers. Inner panels, front fender, hugger and tail section are color matched. Frame & Suspension: Stock mainframe, 2003 GSXR 1000 swing arm modified for Hayabusa shock placement. Rear suspension raised 1.45cm. w custom dog bones. Racetech re valved and sprung rear shock for 200 lb geared up rider. Racetech re valved and sprung forks for 200 lb geared up rider, dropped 10mm. EBC brakes w/galfer braided lines, f&r wave rotors. Delron sliders. Controls: 6061 rear set kick plates 1.25” back 1.30” up, racing max clearance billet foot pegs. ¼ turn Yamaha R-6 throttle w/adjustable levers and thin grips. Engine & Drive: Big air box mod, TRE ignition bypass & Power Commander engine management. Undercut second gear w/stock ratio Hindle full stainless exhaust system. Light weight 41 tooth Kawasaki rear drive with Carrozzeria cush system and high strength O ring gold chain. Oil cooler and restrictor removed. All smog control devices removed. Speedo healer Carrozzeria aluminum wheels w 190-55 rear. Dunlops front and rear This bike was built as a Yoshimura X1-R clone. It has 105 lbs torque, 174 hp to the rear wheel and tips the scales at just over 470 lbs. Top speed with this configuration is a true and stable 185 mph. The bike has been detailed, garaged, covered and is currently registered in CA. The bike was specifically built for canyon riding but minor suspension adjustments make it comfortable for long distance touring. This Hayabusa was built to ride.
