PRICE REDUCED! PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION. CAR IS IN DECENT SHAPE BUT IS NOT RUNNING AND BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING/TRANSPORT. This is a classic piece of German engineering. This '89 Bimmer has been a great car, and it can be for you. It has basically every option from back in '89, which is the last year they made this body style. The body is straight, and it's just a few things away from being a great car again. It does need some work, and it could be a BMW enthusiast's restoration dream car. The motor is flawless and still runs powerfully, as if it were just off the lot. The power windows/locks/mirrors/sunroof/seats all work. Aftermarket K&N air filter. Original BMW stereo included but not installed. No CD player and the air conditioning does not work properly although the heater works fine and the compressor seems to work. For those seriously interested, I will take any more pictures of anything, and will disclose any known problems. Again, this car does need work, and I'm not trying to blow smoke, but it looks great for being a 21 year old every day driver of a vehicle. I am the second owner, and have had her since 2002. It takes the right person to appreciate her and nurse her back to health. THIS CAR HAS THE FOLLOWING ISSUES: -- The electronic component of the transmission must be replaced ($900-1200 parts/labor) -- Car failed smog (either Catalytic Converter or mass airflow sensor (apprx $400-600 parts/labor) -- Car is not running, and buyer is responsible for transport of vehicle.
