1972 Olds cutlass 2dr hardtop nice solid project.Original high desert southern Idaho car. This was parked in 1989 when the original rear end grenaded and has sat since. I purchased it last year and got it back on the road. My Mom and Dad had one of these when I was growing up and I thought it would be cool to have one like it. Original rear was replaced with a 12 bolt out of a 70 Cutlass Supreme. Engine is the original Olds 350 that runs great and doesnt smoke. Trans is the original TH 350,shifts good. factory A/C, doesnt work but everything is there except for the condenser. Factory AM-FM radio,works but the original speakers need replaced (you can barely hear it). Factory disc brakes. The interior needs the headliner, front seat cover and carpet replaced but the door panels,rear panel,rear seat and dash are very nice and only need cleaned. The windshield is cracked and should be replaced but its not so bad that it cant be driven. It had a vinyl top originally but the roof isnt rusted underneath. The only body issues are the scrape on the drivers side FT fender and door, a light dent in the drivers 1/4 and some minor dings. The only rust issues are the bottoms of the LT rear quarter,there was an old rats nest that held some moisture. The back window does NOT leak and the channel is solid. The trunk floor is VERY solid (see pics-yes thats factory paint!!) as are the passenger floors.I have the grill, headlight doors ect i'll add a pic of them later. This was my daily driver all summer and I hate to sell it but I have to pay some bills and have other projects. Car has a clear Idaho title in my name. Adding to the description- All of the paint is original to the car. Never been repainted except for a small repair on the drivers side. As this is a desert car it doesnt have any problems with the frame, pinchwelds ect. The doors shut solid like they did when new. The car even still has one of its original "Oldsmobile" script floormats. All of the heater/AC controls work great, changes smoothly from defrost to heat,vent ect.
