Vehicle Detail

Up for bids I have a 1955 Buick Roadmaster 2 door hardtop. This car is very solid driver quality. It had a new paint job put on it about 4 years ago. It was painted the original Cherokee Red and Dover White. The paint was all color sanded to give it a deep finish. The car was 99% rust free with only a small bit of rust under the drivers side rear quarter. It was professionally repaired and is covered with the rear lower chrome piece. The 322 motor is believed to be original and runs strong. The engine compartment could use some freshing up, but displays nicely still. Would look great with a new coat of green apple paint. The interior is average to good. The floor carpet could use an updating, but I kept it because it was the original. The headliner has a couple of holes where mice chewed on it above the visors. The car sat in a quonset hut for a few years before I got ahold of it. The trunk is very solid but has no interior panels. The dynaflow does flow like most of these cars did, but shift strong and works good. The only other thing I can think of is the front and rear bumpers display nicely, but could use a rechroming for a show car. I have told you all the bad I can think of, but there is more good than bad about this car. It is a very fun family cruiser that rides like a cloud, with plenty of power. Has power steering, brakes, windows and seat that all work great. Another feature this car has is a signal seeking radio with the wonder bar on the radio as well as a push switch on the floor that seeks the next AM station. All the stainless steel on the sides of the car were professionally polished and looks great and straight. I also watched the movie Grease too many times as a child and put dual exhaust and flame throwers on it. They work great and are a real attention getter. I do not want to sell it, but Dad and I have decided to let it go to make room. This is as low as it is going to go so if you want it, please bid on it, You are more than welcome to come view the car in person or send someone by. The car is at my Dad's place in central southern Kansas. Being sold with no warranty. Will be glad to assist in loading. If you do not plan on following thru with your bid or do not have the cash, do not waste your or my time. I do not want any BS with this. If questions, please ask.
