It time again to start selling off my stuff. As the wife says it time again. Last time it was cameras, then my train stuff, video games, and now the car. I bought this Shelby in hope of having it for a while and to myself, being that the wife does not drive a 5speed. Apparently, if she can’t drive it, I can’t have it. So here go, up for auction is a 1988 Dodge Shelby Z Daytona. Car is bright red and fast. Has the 2.2L Turbo II Turbocharged and intercooled, 5 speed trans, pw, pdl, pw driver seat, leather. T-Tops!!! Newer clutch over the summer. Nice body no rust, car came for North Carolina in March, eBay car. The car was my daily drive all summer long. It is great on gas. It is drivable but needs a few things looked at. Needs Valve cover, prior own cracked corner off when changing head gasket in January so it leaks oil. Power Steering pump, leaks, Windshield cracked, Speedo need sending unit, this caused odometer to stop has about 160,000 on car, Fuel gauge need sending unit, Tilt wheel loose, shake at about 45-50 but goes away, had not had it looked at. Just listing as much as possible to make it worth everyone’s time. Interior needs work but I have many parts available at additional cost. The starting price is well below what I have in the car, about 2900 including the car purchase, shipping, clutch, shifter, and wiper motor alone. The car is a great base for a winter project; I have too many project cars now. Please email for more information and if local we can set up a time to see the car. I have the car listed locally so I may stop the auction if I sell it. If I sell it for the buy now, I have extra interior parts, almost all of them, dash, front and rear seats, steering column, switches, a lot of trim, gauges. I would put them in the car when shipping it. If not the high bidder can make an offer. I will not sell these parts before the car is sold. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. I will assist in if I can but not offer financial help. I respectfully request that a non-returnable deposit of $100 be made with in 48 hours, this cover the eBay cost, and the remainder be paid in 7 days or before shipping, unless other arrangements are made. I will not answer emails that ask that the car be shipped out side the USA or if you send me x amount of money and return the differences and the ship the vehicle blah, blah , blah. The car is sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with a clean Illinois Title on it. It is a nice car but it is 22 years old already so expect a 22 year old car. Thanks for looking, if I don’t answer your email right away, my wife found an other stash of hidden stuff I have and I’ll be putting them up on eBay soon, camera stuff, dept 56, more trains stuff, and I’m not sure which other stuff she found or is still hidden safely away.
