Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1992 GMC Typhoon #1606 or 2000 built. If you are looking for a fast, built Typhoon that is driveable and in excellent condition for half the price of building one, this is it!! I will try to cover everything, but surely will miss something. Please call if you have any questions. I have all the receipts from all the following work that has been done to the truck. I also have most all the paperwork from the important things you need to know how to work. Includes all books, receipts, keys, some old brochures, etc. Exterior: -Repainted in 2009 with Sikkens paint in Corvette Arctic White. Body is straight and the paint is excellent. -Diamond headlight conversions with HID headlights -Clear corner lenses -Black painted GMC emblem -Shaved escutcheons -New PPG windshield and all windshield molding -New Wiper arms -Rear wiper delete -Roof rack shaved -All new plastic rivets attaching cladding -Gunmetal Z06 wheels with S.S. lip 17x9.5 (all 4) with new 275/40-17 tires The truck looks perfect. There is not a stone chip in it and the paint is excellent. I would call the paint a $5000 job, not a $10,000 job. It is very nice, but not an absolute perfect and flat show car high dollar paint job. It was disassembled and done right. No paint edges in the jams. Drivetrain: -Stock block with nitrided stock crank -L35 cylinder heads -Eagle forged rods -TRW forged pistons -Harland Sharp roller rockers 1.5 ratio -Crane hydraulic roller cam -PTE51 turbo kit -A2A front mount intercooler -Camball Automotive 16 position chip with 6 pump gas settings, 6 110 octane settings, and 4 C16 settings. -Alky Control Methanol Injection Kit -3" Stainless steel downpipe with cutout -RPM 3" Stainless steel exhaust system with Magnaflow Stainless muffler. 3" tailpipe in stock location -RPM dual electric fans with aluminum upper and lower shroud -Edelbrock water pump -HKS SSQV blow off valve (copy) -Manual boost controller in center console -60# injectors -180 deg. thermostat -Jeep steering shaft -Kenne Bell AFPR -Built 700R4 trans with 2800 stall convertor (done in 2009) -New radiator -Belltech 3" lowering kit with pinion wedges -New power steering pump and pulley -Optima Red Top battery -K&N filter on 3" Cobra elbow -New distributor, ignition module, plugs, and wires -New GM knock sensor The truck runs and pulls great. I just recently installed the Alky kit and have not used it yet. I have been looking for someone to tune it for the alky. It needs tuned regardless, and I figured it would make sense to get the alky on it and do it all at once. The truck starts, idles, runs, and drives fine, it just could use dialed in and could be a lot better. I use it as a sunny day leisure toy and it has been just fine the way it is. It would really rip with a good tune for 93 octane, alky, and some more boost. I bet it goes mid elevens on pump gas set up like that. The transmission feels great, shifts very firm and nice. I also have receipts for some differential rebuilds, so it is all good and pretty fresh. Interior: -Seats are excellent and no rips or tears -No cracks in dash -Carpet is perfect -Typhoon floor mats are perfect -New headliner -Triple gauge pillar with Boost gauge, tranny temp.(not hooked up), and oil pressure(not hooked up) -Factory gauges all work perfect -Manual electric fan override -Alky Control module and LED lights -Factory radio works perfect I believe that covers everything. I'm sure there is something I missed. This truck is very clean and rust free. See the pics of the bottoms of the doors and rear gate. I'm ready to sell so it will go very reasonably. Call me and we can put a deal together. I love this truck and there is nothing I can fault about it other than wanting it tuned a bit better and ripping on methanol and more boost :) Buyer must pay a $500 deposit within 24 hours and in full within 5 days of the end of the auction. Buyer is responsible for any pick up or delivery costs and arrangements. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time due to local sale. Will only accept COD or certified funds.
