First of all thanks everyone for checking out our auction on this amazing 1972 Buick Riviera Gran Sport,GS,455,we have the pleasure of offering for sale.This car is fully loaded and truly a rare find at 47,490 original miles,i will list all the details below: VIN 4 Y 8 7 W 2 H 931107 Motor Code 1241735 BUICK RIVIERA COUPE 2 DR HARDTOP 455 MODIFIED HIGH PERF 1972 FLINT MICHIGAN SERIAL # Let me start by saying i have had the pleasure of collecting and selling unique cars for years and this is one of the most amazing cars i have had the pleasure to offer for sale.This Gran Sport Boattail Riviera was ordered with the 455,330 HP{W VIN] motor,coupled to the Turbohydromatic 400 transmission,12 bolt posi traction rear and runs and drives amazing.This GS is loaded with options ice cold A/C,power windows{all work}power seat,power locks,tilt wheel,rear defogger,the wiper button on the column for one wipe,doors unlock when ignition is turned off and almost everything works.With the exception of the radio,clock and washer everything works all the headlights,tail lights,hazard lights,interior buzzer,dash lights,courtesy lights,rear defogger,wipers,wiper delay,all dash idiot lights,seat belts,trip,A/C all work in perfect order and where preserved beautifully.The exterior is in amazing shape no dents or dings with the exception for a minor flaw on the drivers door hard to see in the pics.The paint is great with the exception of the hood,roof and trunk having wear due to age it has a effect where the clear coat has just worn off due to age,we did a light wetsand to test and it really didnt help and i did not want to touch the original paint at this time i figure i will let the lucky new owner make that decision please look at the last two pics to see what i am trying to explain,there a minor little blemishes here and there due to its age but overall really nice this is a way above averge driver,cruiser,net a trailer queen show car.The interior of this GS is truly amazing looks like it rolled off the showroom floor,the seats are excellent,dash perfect,carpet is new with correct embroidered mats,the headliner is perfect,door panels all real nice and as a whole way above average.This GS runs and drives beautifully,no leaks or smoke and is all stock with the exception of a stainless exhaust with cherry bomb mufflers,we just had the exhaust installed and there is a rattle on the right exhaust probably from one of the mounting hangers just have not had time to take it back to the muffler shop,im sure its an easy fix,,otherwise the car runs and drives excellent,brakes perfect,steers with one finger and just a pleasure to drive.The ralley wheels are in great shape and the spare is a matching ralley wheel as well,new tires,the trunk compartment is in great shape please see pics.The car also has a custom stereo in the glove box that just stopped working with new speakers i believe the head unit just needs replacing about $150,the car also has an after market alarm with a key fob,nice extra little touch.Over all this is an excellent rare Gran Sport Riviera that can be used as a daily driver,it is not a concourse or museaum piece,but a very well preserved car that is very presentable,basically rust free car that drives great and gets looks everywhere we drive it,with a little tweaking it can be perfect for a daily driver or the perfect candidate for a show car.The car is being sold as is but i take selling classic cars seriously and describe all the cars i sell accurately please check out my feedback i also have another ebay account kicknitoldskool with 308 positive feedbacks as well please feel free to look,we are a small dealer in South Florida and really take pride in offering special cars for sale,Florida residents will have to pay 6% sales tax and tag or transfer,no dealer fees.The lucky new owner will have to pay for transportation we will assist with storing and helping meet your transporter and make it a very easy transaction,feel free to call with any questions 561-541-0432,or feel free to email i have many more pics i will be glad to them to you and please click on pics below for some video of the car ,thanks and good luck.
