Never Raced! *Though the car is definitely Built for It! **This car was built to maintain a reliable 450hp+ daily driver.** Please Serious Inquiries Only!! Here is a link for over 150 pictures! http://picasaweb.google.com/Kalasinj/UntitledAlbum02# This vehicle took me over 3 years to restore beyond its original condition. The parts/paint/style were meticulously chosen for this vehicle throughout its restoration. The engine bay/door jams/trunk jams/complete body was repainted! No corners were cut!! This car has a new transmission and transfer case from the dealer! The engine was professionally rebuilt with top of the line parts. The suspension/brakes/body/interior was also replaced/rebuilt!! This car is basically brand new from head to toe!! There are hundreds of new parts on this car and I listed the majority of them. Please feel free to ask all the questions you have!! This car is truly a blast to drive. I still get an adrenaline rush every time I take this car for a ride!! Every time I drive this car I have random people waving, giving thumbs up, and going on about the car. Thanks!! I am trying to find my baby a great home!! The History of the Car/Build ****I bought this car back in 2006. I started by gutting the whole car. I focused first on the body work and fixed every dent/ding on the car. I repainted the engine bay, door jams, trunk jams, inside of the doors, and the complete body in a gunmetal/charcoal paint with light silver pearl. I then bought a brand new OEM 99 VR4 bumper and turn signals. I already had 96 black headlights. The hood is OEM with head vents cut into it help the turbos cool faster and dissipate heat. I even ordered new OEM window trim pieced $175 a piece and new door jam rubber seals $95 a piece. I bought a used engine from upstate NY and stripped the engine down to bare bones. This is a four bolt main engine! I bought a new forged crank, Ross .80 forged racing pistons, and ARP hardware for the lower end. I had the crank and rods sent to a shot peener for even more strength. (If you are not familiar with the process, Google can explain it well) The bottom end bored .80 /cleaned and then blue printed and balanced. The top end was ported/polished with 1mm oversize valves with a light weight/high rev valve train with big bore 3mm oil lifters. The heads were cut over bigger valves and the oil galleries were also ported and smoothed so oil would flow to the head easier. The lower intake, upper intake and throttle body were also ported/polished/cleaned and repainted. I also put a intake temp spacer keep the heat out of the intake system. The exhaust manifolds were also ported and polished. The front manifold was tapped/welded for a egt gauge which mounts right behind steering wheel. Both upgraded 15g hybrid turbos were ported/polished for even more flow. The valve covers were powder coated and everything in the engine bay was either replaced/upgraded/or if deemed in high quality condition was cleaned/repainted. The whole engine was chrome allen keys and chrome nuts! Basically the engine is insane and the only parts I did not replace was the factory cams. I did not want to lose the idle/reliability. I put all new water pump/timing belt/tensioners/pulleys/accessories/alternator etc etc. The engine oil system has an upgrade front mount oil cooler with high flow lines and a ported/polished oil filter assembly that also sends oil to the cooler. The turbos also have upgraded oil feed/drain lines. The exhaust has high flow pre-pipes and a high flow down pipe that merges to 3". There is a cat converter on the car but it is hollowed out and has a pipe welded through it for more flow. This leads to a high flow moroso drag muffler then to a muffler with a 5" tip with all 3" pipes. The fuel system starts with a new Walbro fuel pump that is hot wired to a relay to get more amps if the fuel pressure drops. I then replaced the fuel filter and built a custom direct dual feed system out of -6 AN line to 2 custom cnc anodized fuel rails with 450cc injectors. There is also a dual return system that goes to a Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator then back to return lines to the tank. The electronics controlling the fuel system is a MAFT Pro running in High Density mode which is an upgrade of use the maft pro. This system allows you to control fuel/ignition control/aux nitrous control. This system eliminates the mas sensor and used a map sensor/intake temp sensor. The unit is mounted in the glove box to conceal it. I also have a digital wide band air fuel gauge(not the blinky gauge but a professional wide band gauge) mounted below the stereo cd player than is also wired into the maft pro. The Intake tubes were hand built with 2 K&N filters. The inter cooler kit is actually two kits combined to create the dual mount inter cooler system. I bought the inter cooler and front pipes from a fabricator in NY. I bought the chrome pipe kit inside the engine bay from a vendor in CA. The kit came out perfect!! This is system is worth over $2200!! I also put a Turbonetics Raptor Bov to handle the system. The clutch in the car is a stage 3 Kevlar disk with a stage 4 pressure plate with a spec aluminum flywheel. The clutch slave systyem was upgraded a JDM slave that has a four bleeders (block) and feels as if the clutch pressure/sensitivity is doubled. I also put a stainless steel flex inside of the rubber flex hose. The clutch master cylinder was also replaced. I installed installed a short throw shifter with a weighted 6 speed shift knob with upgrade bronze washers/nylon shift kit. The suspension has KYB struts with Monroe mounts and Intrax springs. Both ball joints/inner tie rods/sway links are MOOG. The rear camber arms and rear aws delete arms are from 3sx Performance. This car feels like it is riding on rails!! The handling on this car is ridiculous!! The brakes have Pro Slot rotors with Wagner pads and stainless steel brake lines. (front and rear) (Dot 4 fluid) The interior has new Ralli Art seats with a suede Sparco steering wheel and carbon fiber Sparco pedals. The headliner was replaced with suede. The factory gauges in the center of the dash were removed and upgraded. The door panel inserts, center counsel inserts, and stereo insert were wrapped in sport fabric material. In total there were 5 gauges added to this interior. The rear sub box was fabricated and wrapped in foam/Italian leather. The rear carpet sections were fabricated and wrapped in black automotive carpet. There are all new Polk Audio speakers/tweeters in the car that were sealed with upgraded wiring. The sub is a top of the line Solobraic 10". The system is controlled by a Alpine deck. This stereo is so crisp and the bass is outstanding! People that hear the stereo often say I must be running two 12" in subs in the car. The idea was to use high end parts with the right wiring to get the most out of the system. The wheels are light weight Enkie 18x9". These are wrapped in the best street tire on the market Falken 615 Azenis in a 265/35/18!!! This are about $300 per tire!! I also got racing forged aluminum air craft quality lug nuts $90 for the set. There is a small dent and paint chip on the lower driver rear quarter panel. Overall this car is one of the fastest/smoothest/cleanest/relible 3000gt/Stealth Twin Turbo on the road today! My favorite quote when building/restoring car is "You can have fast, cheap, or reliable.....pick two" :) I can go on about this car for hours lolol I love it.
