POLICE AUCTION: Blue 1988 Ford Ranger Custom, extended cab, 44844 miles showing (only six digits on the odometer) ????, manual five-speed transmission, VIN 1FTCR14A4JPA76339. This vehicle was seized by our police department on 1-28-2009 because the previous owner used the vehicle to transport stolen property. It has been in our impound lot since then. We own the truck and hold a clear title. Our policy mandates that all seized vehicles be sold at public auction. NOTICE: This vehicle is extremely rough inside and out. Oil pressure gage shows no oil pressure; truck smokes when running; literally, the motor in this truck could blow up at any time; needs new battery; truck can be boosted off and run from point A to point B but runs very rough. The exterior has scratches, dents, and rust everywhere. The interior is rough as well. Fuse panel cover is missing. Ignition switch is missing although you can still insert the key and start vehicle. NOTE/RESTRICTED AUCTION / PLEASE READ: Really . . . please read and understand this or your bid will be cancelled: Due to past bidders who failed to show up and pay, we have been forced to limit bidders on this vehicle to bidders with a feedback score of 5 or higher (five previous successful Ebay transactions).
