Classic style with a great ride balance, power, and lasting beauty, beautifully finished. This refined road car blends strong performance with solid engineering and luxurious trappings. This SL is impressively stable at speed, with a rock-solid bearing that inspires confidence. This SL also delivers a sporting feel with commendable road manners. The V8 engine feels virtually like a runaway freight train. Just a touch on the gas pedal is answered by a gush of power, this V8-powered SL moves away from a stop with no sense of strain. Evidently this car was regularly serviced at the Mercedes Benz by the history we found, also by its remarkable, outstanding overall condition which is evident by the excellent appearance, outstanding drive and the Car Fax history report and auto check history as well. We had this SL500 inspected by a Mercedes Master Tech that was taken by the excellent shape of this car. They also performed a full safety inspection. I was amazed when driving this fun in the sun, glamour, all year round, Cabriolet. She drove so so well. I honestly, could not believe how smooth and quiet this car drove when going to take the pictures! The Glacier White exterior paint is original paint and no rust or sun damage. No stories! Shines like the Florida sun as you can see from our detailed pictures. I’m not sure it was but I’d like to say garaged for most of its life. Original Beauty with an extremely clean appearance. The extra clean interior is in outstanding condition from the carpets to the headliner. The, like new, gray, leather, interior shows so very little signs of any wear and is all original. The soft convertible top is in really good shape! Included is the back soft top window that is as clear as new. The soft top is a power top that works perfectly, with no faults and no fluid cylinder leaks and goes down at the touch of a button! The rollover bar was designed to flip into position between the seats when needed. Made of foam-covered steel tubing, the bar lay flush with the rear tonneau cover, ready to deploy within 0.3 second if sensors detected an impending rollover incident. The bar could be raised and lowered via a dashboard button, if desired. Antilock braking is standard. Even without the three-pointed star, it would be difficult to mistake the SL for anything but a Mercedes-Benz. It is short but sleek, with a chunky, purposeful look. Nice touches include the faired-in aerodynamic headlights, steeply raked windshield with no chips, large rear light clusters, and bumpers tucked tightly against the body. Outstanding shape Mercedes 16” aluminum alloy wheels that have no curb damage, carrying, good condition Michelin Tires. The air conditioning is ice cold Features included are: hard and soft tops, headlight washers, power driver and passenger seats with memory, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, power fold-in exterior, rear view mirrors, Bose rear speakers, Alpine, detachable face plate, CD, radio and exterior temperature display. The pixels on the dash are all lit. All of our vehicles are sold with clean titles. Our titles are free and clear of any and all liens. At the time of delivery, we will include any extra keys/remotes that we received for this automobile when we purchased it. Hello thank you for stopping in by our "NO RESERVE" auction for this extra clean, super well cared for and original miles 1998 Mercedes-Benz SL500 Roadster with removable aluminum hardtop as well as a power soft top. Classic style with a great ride balance, power, and lasting beauty, beautifully finished. This refined road car blends strong performance with solid engineering and luxurious trappings. This SL is impressively stable at speed, with a rock-solid bearing that inspires confidence. This SL also delivers a sporting feel with commendable road manners. The V8 engine feels virtually like a runaway freight train. Just a touch on the gas pedal is answered by a gush of power, this V8-powered SL moves away from a stop with no sense of strain. Evidently this car was regularly serviced at the Mercedes Benz by the history we found, also by its remarkable, outstanding overall condition which is evident by the excellent appearance, outstanding drive and the Car Fax history report and auto check history as well. We had this SL500 inspected by a Mercedes Master Tech that was taken by the excellent shape of this car. They also performed a full safety inspection. I was amazed when driving this fun in the sun, glamour, all year round, Cabriolet. She drove so so well. I honestly, could not believe how smooth and quiet this car drove when going to take the pictures! The Glacier White exterior paint is original paint and no rust or sun damage. No stories! Shines like the Florida sun as you can see from our detailed pictures. I’m not sure it was but I’d like to say garaged for most of its life. Original Beauty with an extremely clean appearance. The extra clean interior is in outstanding condition from the carpets to the headliner. The, like new, gray, leather, interior shows so very little signs of any wear and is all original. The soft convertible top is in really good shape! Included is the back soft top window that is as clear as new. The soft top is a power top that works perfectly, with no faults and no fluid cylinder leaks and goes down at the touch of a button! The rollover bar was designed to flip into position between the seats when needed. Made of foam-covered steel tubing, the bar lay flush with the rear tonneau cover, ready to deploy within 0.3 second if sensors detected an impending rollover incident. The bar could be raised and lowered via a dashboard button, if desired. Antilock braking is standard. Even without the three-pointed star, it would be difficult to mistake the SL for anything but a Mercedes-Benz. It is short but sleek, with a chunky, purposeful look. Nice touches include the faired-in aerodynamic headlights, steeply raked windshield with no chips, large rear light clusters, and bumpers tucked tightly against the body. Outstanding shape Mercedes 16” aluminum alloy wheels that have no curb damage, carrying, good condition Michelin Tires. The air conditioning is ice cold Features included are: hard and soft tops, headlight washers, power driver and passenger seats with memory, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, power fold-in exterior, rear view mirrors, Bose rear speakers, Alpine, detachable face plate, CD, radio and exterior temperature display. The pixels on the dash are all lit. All of our vehicles are sold with clean titles. Our titles are free and clear of any and all liens. At the time of delivery, we will include any extra keys/remotes that we received for this automobile when we purchased it.
