Vehicle Detail

I am selling a 1976 Ford F-100 Ranger XLT. It comes with all original paint, which means it has never been painted. The body is in great condition with only surface rust mainly on the hood. It has a small ding and a scrape on the hood, where it looks like a limb might have fallen on it sometime ago. It is kindof hard to see in the pictures and even in person, but wanted everyone to be aware of it. It came with power disc brakes, power steering and air conditioner, sliding rear window and lots of chrome. The rubber insert is missing in the left bedside chrome, but I have another to go in it, just haven't put it in there yet. The interior is original, and needs some attention. It came with the black super soft vinyl seat, that needs re-upholstered. The shag black carpet has some fading where the floor mat didn't cover it all, but is great shape otherwise. The dash board is cracked some and needs to be replaced. The air conditioner does not come on, but everything is intact, belt on it too. Door panels are in very good shape. The steering wheel wood grain horn button center, needs to be replaced. The inside of bed has minimal use and was used mainly to pull a bass boat to the river. The truck has spent its entire existence in the Chattanooga, Tn area and I live within 35 miles of downtown Chattanooga. The engine is a 360 V8 (22k on crate engine) with a C-6 automatic transmission. The engine was replaced by the second owner with a crate motor from a reputable parts store. It was a complete engine. The engine was replaced when the truck had 99k miles on it and now has 121,000 miles on it. The second owner bought the truck from a friend of his that worked for the railroad in Chattanooga and before the second owner retired he put the new engine in it so it would last the rest of his life and wouldn't have to worry about it. So the engine would have around 22k miles on it. Mechanically it needs doughnut gaskets and exaust pipes and mufflers. It currently has dual exaust but has some leaks due to exaust rusting out. The second owner put it in his sons name in 1997, for some reason or another, but continued to drive it. When the sons father past he decided to sell it to me, but I think it sat for a few years without being driven, the last tag was Jan 06. This is a very nice unrestored project truck and is definitely worth the time to restore because it was the top of the line in its day. If you have any questions please ask. Keep in mind that this truck is 34 years old and never been restored. Paypal for $400 down payment only, within 48 hours. If you pay with check or money order, check or money order has to be cleared before you pick up truck and payment received before 7 days expires. If you are paying with cash you can pay when you pick up the truck after you pay the $400 down payment to Paypal. Do not pay full amount to Paypal, just the $400 down payment. The truck has to be picked up within 14 days. I have told all I know about this truck and I am an honest person. If you have a problem with anything I have said Do NOT Bid on this item. I am not out to rip anyone off and don't plan on getting ripped either. Thanks
