Up for auction is a 1962 Ford Falcon 2 door wagon. (I'm told there were not many 2 door wagons made in 1962). This is a project car that was originally being built as a street/rat rod. Factory floor and frame was removed. The current frame (that was shortened to fit) is out of a 1995 Ford Ranger and was choosen so we could install a 302 out of a Mustang. (engine not included). Body will need rear quarters replaced. Hood, doors, front fenders and rear gate have all been replaced with OEM used parts. (Not availble to purchase aftermarket) Gate is a very hard to find item that I've seen go for upwards of $500 on Ebay. The inner fenders were removed from car but I do have them along with the hood hinges.The stainless trim around windows is complete and another hard item to find. Also included is the factory bench front and rear seats. (Steer pattern) Again this is a project car that I was unfortunately unable to finish and if you have any question please ask. I can take any more pictures you would like to see. Car will need to be picked up. Reserve is set very low. (About a 1/4 what I have in car.)On Oct-22-10 at 09:19:17 PDT, seller added the following information: I want to mention (you can see in pictures) that the instrument cluster has been altered to accept the Oil and temp gauges. Gauges are brand new and have never been used. I do have the steering column (Stick shift) but is not pictured along the grill. Again, the reserve is set low and you could double your money if you wanted to part out and just sell the doors, fenders and rear gate. Thanks for looking.
