1979 Mercedes 450SEL Car runs and drives well. Euro headlights and bumpers. Interior is decent and complete. Passenger side front seat has two spots where the leather has broken. Many new parts within the last two years: Alternator Power steering pump A/C compressor Water pump Battery Rear axle halfshafts. MSD 6AL ignition Distributor cap Rotor Spark plugs Wires Heat and A/C both work well. Floorboards have been replaced with new sheetmetal welded in. Rust on PS lower fender and on rockers. Otherwise body is straight. This is a great car to restore, or just drive as is. I planned to do so myself, but I have too many projects and not enough time. To be perfect mechanically would need an alignment, a new muffler, and a new flywheel (missing one or two teeth)
