Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is this 1970 Dodge Charger. It is an original B5 blue, blue interior, 318 c.i., automatic 727 trans. and air conditon car. We've had this car for about 5 years and have done quite abit of work to it. The car is very solid and we've enjoyed driving it to many car shows here in northern Michigan. As with having many projects, there comes a time to sell some to pay for the other projects. Thus the reason to sell . Here's what we've done: The car had some rust repair done in the quarters and driver's floor, then repainted in Dupont Chroma, base coat clear coat, B5 blue. The car had a vinyl top originally but was removed before we purchased the car. A note stuck to the original owners manual says it was a black vinyl top car. The roof was already painted white when we purchased it and so we had the same color put back on with a white bumble bee stripe to match. We've had complements from many people saying they like the color combination. We installed correct new side chrome mirrors also. The interior was then replaced with new bright blue carpets, seat covers and headliner from Legendary Auto Interiors. When the seats were recovered, we found two build sheets in the front seat backs. The original 318 C.I. engine still runs great and doesn't smoke. The headers, Edlebrock intake and carb came on the car when we got it. The carb has been rebuilt, a new cam, cam bearings and lifters have been installed, a new high volume oil pump have been installed and verified with a mechanical gauge to have 75-80 psi oil pressure and new gaskets were installed. The trans is a 727 replacement from Jasper engines and trans out of Indiana. This also came in the car when we purchased it. Exhaust is 2.5" with Flow Master mufflers and new chrome exhaust tips. The rearend is 7 1/4" with 2.73 gears. Shocks are all new also. This car was originally an A/C car but, everything had been removed over the years. So, everything under the hood is new from Classic Auto Air and the heater and A/C air box was sent to out to be overhauled from Classic Auto Air in Florida. What else you get: The car will come with the original owners manual, the original vehicle sales sheet from the original dealership from Virginia and two build sheets that were found in the front seat backs. A front license plate mount, the original headrests and a photo album of the car from before, during and after the work that's been done. The car is sold as is where is with no warranty. The car is sold locally and we reserve the right to end the auction early. Payment at the end of auction is to be paid in certified bank check or money order. If you have any questions or would like to see the car, call us at 231-597-8698. Talk with Jeremy or Dave. More pictures of this car can be found on Facebook under Black River Customs. If you find dates on some of the pics, ignore them. They were taken the day of auction start. On Oct-17-10 at 12:22:23 PDT, seller added the following information: I want to thank everyone who has shown an interest in our Charger. I will be posting more pics of the car on our shop's facebook page, Black River Customs, on Monday the 18th. I've had some people call and ask if the car will travel a long distance. I would have no problem driving it to Florida. The car has treated me very well last 5 years. A couple have asked about putting a big block in it without major issues. SB/BB mounts could be purchased from different vendors without changing the K member. As far as the this 727 trans would mount to a BB? I'm not for sure at this time if the bolt patterns are the same between the SB and BB 727 trans. I hope this info is helpful. One more tid bit of info, this car WILL be sold this week! Thanks, Jeremy.
