Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1995 Cadillac Deville Concours. The Concours was the top of the line Deville, sporting the excellent 32 valve Northstar 4.6L V8 engine. It drives like a car with less than half the mileage. It makes nearly 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. Harnessing that power is GM's venerable 4T80-E transmission, that delivers smooth, crisp shifts under any circumstances. This generation of Deville shares much of its fundamental platform with the Seville and Eldorado, so it handles less like a luxury car and more like a large sports sedan. It is a joy to drive. Inside, the car is finished in black leather with perforated inserts. The leather is in great shape, as are the carpets. All the original floor mats are present. The dash is in great shape with no cracks, and the real Zebrano wood that graces the dash and all four door sills is an elegant touch. The A/C blows cold, the radio and tape deck work just as they should, as does the digital display with trip computer. For all of its power, the Northstar is surprisingly good on gas. It is not hard to get 24 mpg while cruising in this car. The brakes are good and have plenty of life left. They stop the car smoothly and assuredly. Four matching BF Goodrich Traction T/A tires with lots of tread remaining are mounted on the stock wheels. The car runs smoothly, quietly, and has been well maintained. Plugs and wires were replaced at 113K and are good for 100,000 miles. Oil changes have been done regularly. Since owning the car, I have replaced the A/C compressor, dryer, and serpentine belt, and front sway bar end links. I also had all four tires balanced. The car passed the Massachusetts state inspection with flying colors. The body of the car is in great shape. There are a few scratches and imperfections, but nothing that takes away from the cars stateliness or beauty. The car is very clean and makes a great impression. The power antenna does not retract -- the motor is fine, just needs a new mast. These are inexpensive. It gets good radio reception. At startup, the "service ride control" indicator comes on, but is easily removed by pressing the reset button on the dashboard. The car rides smoothly and handles great. The original keyless fob is included. It is in wonderful shape. I've very much enjoyed owning this car, and would keep it, but at the moment, I don't need the extra vehicle. I hope this beautiful, luxurious car finds a good home. It is an awesome automobile. Of course, the car is sold as is. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. It is worth noting that the AutoCheck completely miscalculates the number of owners, as these programs seem to do occasionally. I am the third owner.
