For auction is this 1975 Honda XL175. Manufactures date on the neck is 4/75. I have riden the bike a few times - since it has been sitting in storage for many years, it runs better every time I have taken it out. The engine sounds good - no funny noises. It does smoke a little when it first strats, but clears out after running awhile ( will clear more with riding - storage is not good on these bikes ). It shift through all the gears. She's a bit of a rat right now, but with some tlc and riding, she's a better bike than she looks. There is no taillight. The speedo has seen better days. There is no battery in the bike, so I cannot attest to the workings of the lights or horn. The gas tank is dented and will need to be cleaned inside. The seat pan is in good condition, but the cover is torn. The wheels have some spots of rust starting. There is no breather. There are no cracks or breaks in the cases or fins. The ignition key also works the seat lock. There is no title with bike - I will provide a bill of sale. Parts or fixer-upper - lots of options with this bike !! Buyer is responsible for the cost and arranging of shipping. Either pick the bike up yourself, or arrange to have it hauled.
