38 Ford ½ Ton Pickup This truck is powered by the original 85 hp flat head V8 engine. The engine runs descent, with no knock or unusual noises. It carries good oil pressure. The engine could use some carburetion tune up work to make it run perfect. The truck does needs rewired. The body is very solid. All Original with the exception of the hubs. They have been switched out with a mid 30’s ford passenger car to 5 X5 1/2 inch bolt pattern. I do still have the original hubs, wheels, and tires that go with this truck. The fenders and running boards are solid. There have been some welding repairs on stress cracks. They are in black primer. The cab is very solid as well. The doors shut well. The cab is straight with a few minor dents. The cab has no rust. It is in tan sealer. The bed has some minor rust on the steak pockets and the front panel. Somebody has put a metal floor in the bed. The panel below the tail gate is beat up and one tail gate hinge is missing. If you are good at fixing things… With minimal time and money this truck could be turned into a nice driver. I have not found any signs of body puddy in this truck. The only rust issues I have found are the ones I mentioned on the bed. I encourage you to study the pictures closely. CALL WITH ANY QUESTIONS.
