Re-Listing due to non-paying bidder. Up for bids is a one owner lightly worked 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 SLT with 233,000 mostly Highway miles. This is a loaded truck with PW, PL, Power Driver seat, AM/FM/CD/Cassette radio, 5.9(360 CI) V8, Auto trans. 1. Body front and rear bumpers surface rust, a few dents, nothing major. Some rust showing lower door panels. Paint very good for the age and miles. Bed shows very little wear (Wife wouldn’t let me use it to haul anything but our dirt bikes a few times). 2. Mechanical, Runs and Drives great, 4 wheel drive works and used very little, mainly just to pull boat out of the lake. Also only used to tow 2500 # Fish and ski. Which is does very well. Tires tread 70%, new Brakes. Drivers door needs regulator. Currently Switch disconnected and Windows in the up position. Regulators are $65 on E-Bay. Passenger window fine. All glass no chips or cracks, Interior fair cond, Drivers seat worn and foam showing. AC not working, Heater fan also needs replaced. Brakes have leak somewhere, just been keeping fluid topped off once a month. Motor uses 1 quart oil every 3000 miles. Oil changed religiously by my wife (After all it is her truck and she has driven it daily for last 13 years. 3. Overall, this is a very good truck for a project, or just get in and drive. However it is showing it’s age which may explain the window regulator. My plans were to restore this as a project. However not having a garage and the fact I have a 2010 RAM 1500, and my wife now drives a 2010 Charger. We are afraid it will be sitting too long before I can get to it. What it needs is for someone to drive it or fix the AC and Window regulator and it would be a good SC truck. 4. Bear in mind though this truck was originally purchased in Indianapolis Indiana and was up north until Dec 2006. It was undercoated and paint sealed but it has not been in a salt free snow free environment. Still after cleaning it up for these pics it really is in great shape for 13 years and 231,000 miles. 5. That said, good luck bidding, Starting bid is $500, Buy it now is $3500. $500 deposit required at end of auction. Must be picked up within 30 days or will be relisted. However will store up to a year if paid in full. But would prefer Truck to be picked up. Can be driven home will not need to be trailered or towed.
