Bought at auction in 2005. Had been stored in barn since 1984. Finally got around to working on it last year. Changed fluids, added new battery. Could get it to run, but not on all cylinders all the time. Cleaned carbs. Changed carbs. Ran out of time and interest. Too many other projects waiting. Needs: rear brake cable, maybe master cylinder, front brake cylinder rebuilt, headlight only works on one beam, missing left side cover, left side contact cover dented and creased, have original air box but in poor condition, other defects obvious in pictures. You can buy this for a parts bike, but a bike mechanic could have this on the road in short order. But no warranty. Buy as is. Would make a nice easy winter project. Will not end auction early. Thanks for looking. On Oct-17-10 at 14:15:34 PDT, seller added the following information: I've been asked for location of bike. It's in Norris City, IL, southeastern Illinois near Indiana border. Approx. 45 mi west of Evansville, IN. Approx 20 south of I64 on Rt45, at Fairfield exit, at the intersection of Rt 45 & Rt 1. Also, I want to make clear, my changing carbs did not cure the miss in the engine. Seems to have changed to a different cyl, but would run correctly for a few seconds at a time.
