1951 Ford Lead Sled Custom Classic Car - Beautiful Car, Sleek Designs .. a real one of a kind here. Good running car, 15 year old paint that is in amazing condition! A strong running motor and overdrive transmission .. the motor is a V8 from a 1951 Mercury. It has a 3/4 race cam. Owner will deliver this car up to 1,050 miles at no charge with full payment required prior to leaving to delivery. Buyer can expect delivery within 10 days of sale. This car has won many awards .. see the photo. It is an amazing car, super super sharp. A few dings, paint flaws - very little surface rust around a window louvre. It has been featured in many magazines as well. The owner is serious about selling and has a reserve price that is very fair. The car has won Best of Show, Best paint, best engine, and it's picture appeared in Rod and Custom in 1995 Americruise Coverage, 1997 Rod and Custom Americruise won Special Recognition Award. The car does not have air conditioning,and does have some bondo in the door areas - both sides but most on the passenger side. Heater does work. He does have the original rims for the car, tires have less than 2000 miles on them, and they are BF Goodrich, wide white wall tires. Interior is a blue vinyl, original radio is included and is not working, aftermarket Pioneer Stereo with am fm cassette is in the car. Passenger door is not opening, needs hinge work. A few scratches (on rear hood are two that are shown in pic, that are about 2" long). There is no touch up paint to go with the car, unfortunately. The under body looks good, see those pics too .. very clean. The car does have dual exhaust. The passenger door glass needs replaced. There is a small ding in the trunk area, to the rear right and it is shown in the picture. Feel free to preview the car prior to the auction ending - it is about 2 hours from St. Louis, just over 2 hours to Indy and Nashville too.
