Up for auction is my 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Coupe "D" code, that was the 25,896 vehicle in the production year. She is completely RUST FREE, Nevada car that is like a time capsule. She has about 15,000 miles on the ORIGINAL ENGINE ( C4AE-6015 ), and she has the original automatic transmission that was rebuilt a few years back. She still has the working AM radio, generator, and so many original parts that are still in really good shape. The car runs great, drives great, stops great, and I have taken great care of her! I have the original title issued to the original owner in 1971 when he finally paid off the car. Everything works on the car except the horn, and that worked until a few weeks ago, and I just have not had time to look into it. The car will speak for itself, and the high bidder wins the car, NO RESERVE!! The car body lines are great, and NO SIGNS of ever being in an accident!! VIN/ DATA TAG INFO: 5R07D125896, 65A/ 3/ 56/ 02E/ 25/ 1/6, as she was produced on May 2nd, 1964, just a month and a half into production. ENGINE/ TRANSMISSION: The engine is the original 289 that has around 15,000 on her since she was rebuilt. She starts right up, and is ready to drive anywhere.The engine still has a generator that works perfect. The car was recently tuned up, oil change, and is ready to rock. The car currently has a date correct 2V intake and carb on her now, BUT I HAVE THE ORIGINAL 4 barrel intake, and Autolite 4 V carb with the carb tag still on her!!! The engine is sealed up nice and tight, and I don't see any signs of a leak under there. The transmission in a smooth shifting C4 automatic that works perfect. If she sits for a while she has a very slight drip. INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR: The interior is in very good shape, with the original door panels, dash bezel is very good, and all the gauges work perfectly. The seats are brand new and look great. The carpet is pretty good, as the front portion of the carpet is the original carpet, with the rear just a few months old. The original seat belts are still upfront, and work great. The interior lights all work correctly, and the wiring inside is great. The dash pad does have a small crack though, and the headliner is no good but, I have a brand new one to go with her!! The windows all roll up and down just fine, and the rest of the glass is good. Blinkers work, wipers work, blower motor works too. The exterior is very nice also. The car has brand new tires on her with about 20 miles on them. The paint is a year old but in great shape. The body has NO RUST at all, NEVER been in an accident, and the body lines are great!! There are a few small dents here and there being that she is a daily driver but, nothing major at all though! The chrome is in very good shape overall, the grill is pretty good too. Glass is good overall too, and the undercarriage is beautiful on the car. Still has the original style exhaust system also. She has a new gas tank, and fuel pump too. INFO: The car is a very, very nice daily driver type car. The car is NOT perfect, but it’s 45 years old also. Please know this before bidding.
