Up for auction is an ultra rare 1980 Pontiac Bonneville 2 door coupe with 76,000 original miles .The elderly owner of this car died in 1989 and his family kept it in the garage for 20 years, the registration sticker on the windshield expired in 1990! I replaced the tires ,all belts and hoses ,fuel lines,radiator,shocks front and rear ,brakes and rotors front and rear,carburetor professionally rebuilt,new fuel pump,water pump,spark plugs and wires,and a few other things,and it now runs as good if not better than a new car, engine is a Pontiac 301 v8, its the smoothest running ,quietest riding car I own. I drove it about 450 miles from New York to Delaware for a car show and it won best in class .I planned on keeping this car for a long time but I recently purchased a 1962 thunderbird sport roadster at a car show and it is now in the Bonnevilles garage spot ,so unfortunately I am out of room . The Bonneville has a power astro roof that works great and does not leak at all ,the power options work as they should,except the antenna, the A/C will also need to be charged .The interior is perfect showing little to no wear ,headliner was replaced ,I installed a keyless remote that locks and unlocks the doors and opens the trunk,and it has a power trunk pull down. Paint is beautiful, it has a few imperfections but no dings or dents ,vinyl top is excellent .This car can be driven anywhere in the USA ,it starts right up and runs /shifts very well and the body and chassis are rust free ,there might be a tiny bit of surface rust on the frame somewhere but little if any.
