This is a 1947 era CJ2A Willys Jeep project. The L head was removed and a GM 307 V8 motor was installed. The people who installed the motor used all of the correct mounts and brackets. As far as I can tell, the frame is in excellent condition, the brakes work, the original 600-16 tires were removed and 15" tires and rims were installed and are new and seen pavement for about 55 miles of test driving. I bought this vehicle a year ago, from someone who was moving and just do not have the time to do the restoration needed for this project jeep. This jeep was stored in a basement garage and has never seen a winter. The motor runs good, the windshield has a crack in it and is not an original windshield to the jeep but is a jeep windshield. This Jeep is being sold as is and will need to be picked up as we do not have the means to transport it. The jeep needs minor finishing up. The emergency brake needs to be installed and needs 2 wheel lug studs. The jeep is titled with a transfurrable registration and the hood need to be fastened. Please email with any questions. A few people have asked if the body is fiberglass.. and the body is fiberglass.. but the windshield is steel. Also to go with the jeep, is the original grill, and that is steel too. The drive shafts have been put in and the jeep was started today... started easily and runs and drives smooth, forward, reverse and in 4WD.
