Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on an unbelievable piece of modern muscle car history. The 1986/87 Buick Grand Nationals were and still are one of GM’s meanest production machines ever built. This car will not disappoint. You are bidding on a 1986 Buick Grand National. This car has been in Arizona I believe its entire life. It was purchased at a local dealership in 1988 and I bought it from the person that purchased it in 1988. This is an unbelievable deal for someone who wants an extremely fast street car. I had the car built to compete in local events and to take to the local cruise ins. It was entered in two episodes of PINK’s all out and seen on the show in clips but unfortunately did not make the cut for the Las Vegas or the Tucson episode’s. It is a multiple trophy winner including West Coast Hot Rod, Arizona’s Fastest Street Cars, 1320x, and more. This car has a full interior and has run a best time of 9.82 on only 22lbs of boost. This time was run in Arizona so, think of what the potential could be closer to sea level. Here is a list of what this fine modern marvel has to offer: It has a fresh Zimmerman Racing built stock block, Custom ground billet cam, solid roller lifters, forged pistons, forged rods, forged crank, the block also has caps and a girdle. The heads are T/A aluminum heads with a race port job, big springs, roller rockers, and a port matched intake. It is fed through an accufab throttle body, 86lb injectors, custom plenum, with an aeromotive fuel pump and a 15 gal aluminum fuel cell. The Turbo is a custom T-70 ball bearing turbo that feeds a RJC front mount intercooler. The car is run by a MSD Digi box and a F.A.S.T. XFI with a F.A.S.T. wiring harness. The transmission is a Turbo 400 with a reverse manual valve body built by Performance Transmissions of Las Vegas. It has a SFI flex plate, Trans shield, Ultra bell housing, Trans brake, custom 4000 converter, and a Cheetah shifter (that is C02 adaptable.) The rear end is a GM 8.8 with moser solid 35 spline axels, 3:42 gear, spool, T/A cover, and Wilwood disk brakes. It has QA1 shocks and a HR Parts and Stuff bar to assist with traction. It has Mickey Thomson Sportsman’s on the front, mounted on 15x4 Centerline Comp. series wheels. It has Phoenix slicks in the rear, mounted on 15x10 Centerline Comp. series wheels. To fit this needed footprint the car has been frame notched and mini tubbed. This Grand National’s exterior has been upgraded with a fiberglass hood, front and rear bumpers with aluminum bumper supports to save some weight. And much much more………. It still has power windows and locks again with a full interior. This Grand National will be truly my loss and someone else’s extremely big gain. This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to sell the car locally and stop this auction. The shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. The car is to be picked up within 7 days of the close of auction unless other arrangements are made. A $500 nonrefundable deposit is to be made within 24hours of close of auction. The remainders of funds are due at pick up via certified bank/cashiers check or cash. Wire transfers may be considered. I also have a trailer that I would consider selling if needed. On Oct-08-10 at 16:37:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Please do not hesitate to contact with any questions.
