A Very cool 1958 Cadillac Runabout boat with a 1964 20 HP Johnson motor and trailer. This boat was made by the Cadillac Boat Company in Cadillac, Michigan. Very few of these were made. The boat has Cadillac emblems and badging. I worked for Cadillac in Detroit for 20 years and there is no history of the auto company's involvement in this boat company. There is also no history of trade name infringement either. This is very unusual for GM This boat is in good structural condition with a few bumps and dings that you can expect on a boat from the 60's. The aluminum has a good patina. The paint is faded and chipped but still recognizable. The outboard is a 20 hp Johnson. I have not had it running. the transom has some cracks in the upper rail but is easily supported with reinforcement wood or L- bracket. The trailer is in good condition with new tires and wheels. CORRECTION Boat weighs about 300 lbs, Trailer has a 1 7/8 in hitch and is in good condition with new tires and wheels. I have not had the motor running but it turns over and is not stuck. The boat is actually no later than 1958, the motor is 1964. I prefer a local pick up but I will help in coordinating buyer arranged / paid shipping.
