1996 Ford Thunderbird NO RESERVE!! We are Selling a 1996 Ford Thunderbird. I am the second owner of the car and when I purchased it, it only had 64,000 miles on it. so you can see I drove it a lot and I loved it. About 4 years ago we replaced the engine... a used engine that only had 67,000 miles on it. I believe the car had about 110,000 miles on it then. About 2 years ago we replaced the stearing column the mechanic put the shift wire in the wrong spot so I have to put it into Neutral to shift out of park. It never bothered me so I drove it that way. ( works fine though) About a year ago we put new ball joints on both side. The car has not been inspected since 09 I do have a current registration on it, and insurance As you can see by the pic, the front of the car does need new clear coat, the paint is fine. The clear coat is fading very badly, and contains scatches, dents and dings. It is 14 years old. It does need a new heater core. Also needs a battery.... If sold I will have the vehicle inspected for the buyer but I need a down payment of 250.00 dollars first just so i know you are a serious buyer just from past experience. Thanks for your time!
