It runs and drives very well, looks pretty darn nice for the age and mileage, and it has a long haul yet to go. It's a hard to find Sport model, well equipped, serviced, detailed and ready to haul. It has some mileage and isn't new, but it's a lot of truck for the money that'll get the job done and won't break the bank. exterior The paint and body on this truck look original. I've been over it and see no signs of any repaint or body work. It does show an accident on the history report and has matching dings in the rear bumper, but it must have been very very minor. I've had the truck up in the air and there's nothing that resembles damage underneath. The truck has pretty good tires, fronts are new and the rears are evenly worn and have life left. The bed liner has been in for a little while, though it does have a whole underneath where a gooseneck hitch would've once been. The windshield is new. The paint has very nice gloss. We've waxed it and it looks beautiful. The hood has some light lacquer checking. The rear bumper is well seasoned and the tailgate has some marks. There's some light rust forming on the lower edges of the inside of the front fenders but I didn't see any anywhere else. The truck has some nicks and scratches, road wear and normal aging. It's not new, but it looks awfully nice for a 200k+ mile diesel. The photos show everything. interior The interior is ver clean for the mileage. The upholstery is nice and drivers' seat isn't all torn to shreds so it probably has all freeway mileage. You can see the steering wheel isn't all worn out at the top either, just a little wear. There's no cracks in the dash where most of this vintage have them. The carpet is pretty fair, it doesn't seem to smell like smoke, didn't see any burn holes, or bad stains. The air blows cold, stereo sounds good and the power accessories seem to work just fine. mechanical This truck runs out quite well. It starts right up, idles smooth and isn't rattly like some older 24 valves. It has good power and hasn't been turned up to the best of my knowledge. The truck does have posi rear end. The transmission shifts fine and fluid is pretty clean. We've changed the oil, filter, and fuel filter. The brakes have over 1/2 life remaining. The belt and hoses are fine. Yes, it does have some seepage underneath, but doesn't have noticeable wet leaks. The truck does have some mileage, but these motors are extremely durable and this truck hasn't been beat on. The truck drives pretty civilized, tracks well, tires don't indicate the ball joints are bad and it seems to feel reasonably tight up front, especially for the mileage. We've been through this rig and it shouldn't need anything for a long haul. You're welcome to fly in and drive home anywhere. comments This is a good solid truck and a smart buy.
