NO RESERVE!! Fuzzy Dice Autos has up for auction a very rare 1962 Oldsmobile Starire 2 door hardtop! This black beauty looks good and runs great! The body is in very nice rust-free condition. The original color re-paint was done several years ago. The paint still has a very nice shine. The brushed aluminum side trims could use a buffing but are also in good condition. The all around glass in excellent and the windows go up and down with ease. The under carriage is rust and damage free. All the quarters, the floors and the trunk pan are in very good condition. The original stock wheel covers come with the car. The interior is original and in above average condition. There are several areas where blemishes were covered over with red tape. Those are most evident on the backs of the rear seats. The carpeting, headiner and dash are all very nice. The gauges and switches all work as they should. The under dash air conditioning is not presently in working order. Unknown as to what the problem may be. The powerfull numbers matching Rocket 394/330 hp engine runs strong and quiet but does need detailing. The automatic trans shifts smoothly through all the gears. This is a very rare and extremely desireable 62 Starfire that can be enjoyed as is or with minimal expense, brought to the next level and made into a real show piece.
