Vehicle is up for auction. This 1964 Lincoln Continental 4 Door Convertible has power windows,seats and doors. The vehicle has red leather and vinyl seats. The condition of the leather on the seats is cracked but the vinyl is in very good condition. The vehicle runs and drives excellent. The vehicle is all original including the 430 V8 engine. I purchased the vehicle about five years ago and it has remained in storage until last year. The vehicle was going to be restored but the monies are needed for business ventures. There were only a little over three thousand of these vehicles made in 1964. The pictures show that the vehicles body is in great shape with the exception of the passenger back quarter panel and the usual bottom fender rust. The convertible top is in need of replacement however the hydraulic pumps work fine.When the car was purchased, the latch on the top worked but at this time it is not working (maybe a fuse). The exhaust is quiet and the car idles smooth. The back passenger tail light lens is broken. One end cap of the front bumper needs replaced, however 98% of the chrome is in great shape. The power vent windows work fine but the main windows do not work. After some research I found that this is a common problem for Lincolns that have been stored for a number of years. A closer view at the pictures will show that the dash board and lenses are in excellent shape. The vehicle shows it's age but can be restored for a minimum amount of work. No International sales.
