1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 351 Cleveland FastbackBright Lime with Black Interior. The paint appears to be 90% Original Paint, passenger quarter and half of passenger door look to have been re-painted [looks like a professional job]. Solid and clean body. The paint on the car and the stripes need minor cosmetic attention, but for being original, they are both in very nice condition. The interior is very clean, the dash-pad is in nice shape, no rips, tears or blemishes. The passenger door panel has a minor split in the center - I have a brand new replacement one that I purchased. This Mach 1 is equipped with optional tachometer, extra center dash gauges, fold down rear seat and factory air conditioning. Original shifter. The Carpet and built in floor mats are in excellent condition. The 351 Cleveland with Air Conditioning runs great and has lots of power. The 3-Speed Automatic Transmission up shifts and downshifts smooth. Options include Power Steering, Power Brakes and proper original Magnum 500 wheels with raised white letter radials. Original valve covers and air cleaner. This is an incredible original 71K mile survivor time capsule Fastback Mustang, documented with original owner card, owner documents, receipts, warranty book, owner's manual and build sheets. This Mach 1 has factory original parts including original spare. The exterior shines well, it's straight, solid and has great quality to the paint, especially for it's age. No major rust issues with this Mustang - it is very clean. It was always a no bad weather southern California and Nevada car. It's always been garaged and covered. Original carlite glass is in good condition and the chrome is good. The 15X7 Magnum 500 wheels and raised white letter tires are in good shape. Mechanically there are no known issues, it is a great running and driving car. It starts up nicely and rides smooth down the road. All lights and signals work as they should. The engine and transmission operate great. It up-shifts and down-shifts. This Mach 1 Fastback runs and stops great. The exhaust and suspension are also in good shape. It is still titled in California and the current plates are included in the auction, if you wish to keep it registered in California. Located in upstate, NY.
