It has so much less wear than one would expect for its year. It is a true classic—an American Luxury Convertible car. The engine is an 8 cylinder with an automatic transmission. It runs and drives good. It’s odometer shows 51,150 miles. The body is in very nice condition. There is no body damage. Only some expected dinks or scrapes or pitting, for example on the mirrors, some chrome. There is no paint fading or peeling. The back sort of hard rubber pieces under the rear lights and trunk area are cracked and are deteriorating. They are not part of the metal body. Some of the rubbers are coming off here and there. The front grill is in very nice shape. The lights are all good--only one has some condensation. The chrome rocker panels shine. Its deep white color is rich and shines beautifully. The exterior is white on white with lots of chrome accents and original Cadillac special features like spoke wheel covers. The tires are very meaty. They are whitewalls. The pictures don’t do this car justice. The interior is very clean. The carpet looks like new. The seats look like they have practically no wear. It has luxurious tufted dark red leather with the Cadillac symbol stitching. The interior color is still dark and fresh looking. There is very little than expected wear on the upholstery and carpets. The only damage I found is on the passenger door near the lock—there are a few scrapes. Again the pictures don’t do the interior justice either. It is hard to get the beautiful richness of the dark red color to show itself as nicely as it looks and feels when you are in actually in it. It has rich wood accents and chrome all over and everything is original. Everything is clean and shiny. The windows are power and all work. It is power all around. It has an AM/FM Stereo with Cassette Player. And it has air conditioning but doesn’t blow cold. The white convertible top is power and works. It has a toggle switch, instead of the original switch, that is used to power the top up and down. The top is in pretty good condition. There is some cracking or fraying on the edge piping. There are a few rips—two 1-2” rips on the outside of the top back on either side. They are on the same area on each side—must be how the top folds in. But it doesn’t leak or interfere with the integrity of the top. They are on the outside of the top not on the inside. The inside—the headliner—is beautiful and clean. The original Operating Guide and Owner’s Guide are with the car. You can get this car and enjoy it now!! We are showing the convertible as it is.
