1991 Ford F-Series Tow truck with eagle claw lift . The good : The motor starts right up The hydraulics for the lift work fine The bad : The last time I used the truck something broke in the transmission or transfer case. It made a load bang and would no longer drive . When its put in gear in tries to move slightly (more in rev then forward) so it may be an input shaft or torque converter. One of the solenoids for the winch is bad but its an easy fix . ( I swapped the solenoids to confirm that is the problem)
