Hello you are looking at a Very Nice 1976 Triumph Spitfire 1500 convertible with the factory hardtop . This car has been in a garage most of it's life and used as a show car for the last 11 years and still looks great. This has a 4 cylinder , 4 speed and gets about 45 Miles per gallon . This is a low mileage survivor that only has 64,000 miles . This car runs great , is fun to drive and is ready for cruising. The engine idles nicely and goes threw the gears smoothly with no funny noises or rattles. The body is in great shape and had some paint work done on the driver side a few years ago that doesn't match exactly. There is a small dent on the driver rear quarter and some chips and normal wear and tear scratches .The body has never rusted and even underneath looks clean ( see pictures ) . If you pick up the carpet on the interior or trunk the factory floors still have all it's orginal paint and is very solid. The chrome is hazed in some places but is usable as is. Some of the chrome is new and looks great . The convertible top is just a couple of years old with no rips .It has a new convertible top boot and the original top boot also. It comes with a brand new still in the box cockpit cover and steering wheel holder . It also comes with a nice car cover . The interior is in great shape with a nice dash ( small crack) , Nice wood dash bezel , shifter , and all of the gauges and knobs work well . This car has been in a garage and been pampered adult driven for the last 11 years. We have about 50 receipts showing all the work and parts purchased for this car. Also an original owners manual. Every year more restoration was done : Some of the major work that has been done in the last 11 years is written below : New Timing chain , sprockets and seals done this week . Crane Electronic Iginition , Stainless steel exhaust , Tires ( about 75% tread left ) , New wheel trim rings ( this week ) , Brake and Clutch Master cylinders with fluid flush ) , Brake lines, hoses , and shoes on front and rear, Rear end seals , New carpet , seats,shift boot, trunk carpet and panels, JVC stereo with 4 speaker system ( sounds great ) , Emissions air pump and lines taken off and saved , Many new parts come with the car also that are still be installed if you wish , new Triumph mud flaps, interior valance panels ( new never installed ) , a whole box of new seals and misc stuff all labled for future maintaince . Just flushed out radaiator and put new hoses this week. If you are a Triumph Collector that is looking for a rust free survivor just to drive or restore this may be for you .
