Vehicle Detail
Economical and reliable. They are the two most important values that can be found in a car in today's economy. You are looking at a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am SE with 152,000 miles on it. The vehicle is in very good condition. It runs and drives 100%. Some of the features that this Grand Am has are: AM/FM cassette player, Anti-Lock Brakes, Driver and Passenger Airbags, Ice Cold Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Power Windows and Locks. It has an automatic transmission that shifts perfectly. The engine is a 2.4 Liter Twin Cam engine that is fun to drive yet good on gas. As you can see, the vehicle is green with gray cloth interior. The seats are all in near showroom condition. Two of the fours tires are like new and the other two have about fifty percent life left in them. I try to be as honest as possible because buying a car is a big investment and I want you to feel comfortable. Here are the few things that I found wrong with the car. The two passenger windows do not go down (probably need window motors). There is some small damage to the passenger front quarter panel. It looks more like rust damage under the paint than damage from an accident. The front passenger window was at one time taped up. There is still a little sign of the tape being there. It is not permanent damage. Just a little elbow grease. The air conditioning compressor is noisy while the air conditioning is in use. As I stated earlier, the air conditioning does blow ice cold. There is just a noise under the hood while it is in use. The speaker cover on the passenger door is loose. The digital screen for the stereo sporadically goes blank. It does not affect the sound of the music, but sometimes it is tough to tell which station you are listening too. The driver door panel has a few screws in it which hold the cloth padding on. All of these problems are minor. They are mostly cosmetic and fairly cheap to fix. The vehicle has a valid New Jersey State Inspection that is good through June of 2011. To sum it up, the car is a perfect daily commuter car, first car or cheap way to get from here to there. Whoever wins this auction will not be disappointed. I accept a variety of forms of payment. From cash at time of pickup to Paypal, credit card to personal checks and just about everything in between. Note: If paying by personal check, the vehicle will not be released until the check has cleared. The buyer is 100% responsible for the pick-up/transporting of the vehicle. I will gladly meet you locally to help with your trip if needed. If you need a transportation company, I recommend Dependable Auto Shippers.
