Hello, up for auction is my 1972 240z, I have only owned this car for about 4 months, it was traded in on another vehicle I was selling due to the buyer not having all the funds? anyway i was told this vehicle was in storage for a little over 10 years, they also gave me an extra transmission,head, intake, all these items will also go with the car" I drove the car and it runs and drives great, I would consider this car a nice Driver- scale 1-10 it would be a 7, the car should be gone over completely before driving every day due to sitting over 10yrs. Body: the color of this "Z" is peril white it still holds a shine, the body is very solid " NOT FULL OF PUTTY" but does have some filler when the car was painted years ago. Undercarage: the floor pan looks good, the driver side pan where your feet would rest feels a little weak but still intact no rott that i can see, where the pan meets the rockers i noticed a couple of small holes about the size of a quarter and a dime, i also listed photos where it looks like someone welded floor suports under the car im not sure if this was factory or not? but they are also bolted to the floor as well. Motor: I was also told this is the stock motor with lots of extras, such as 3 weber carberators, Hooker header,super coil, im not sure on internal parts, when i first received the car it still had 10yr old gas in it, it was drained and i put new in it with sea foam due to cleaning out the system, it also has an electric fuel pump in the rear, i dont no if this is stock? the clutch is good and shifts smooth. Interior: the inside looks great for the year, they had taken out the head liner due to sagging but i have it as well but it will need put back in, all the gauges work even the heater motor, it also has a hand choke by the shifter, all the lights work and turn signals and dash lights. Tires: the tires look new, the rims are also in good condition they are craigers. Miles: the car only has 58,000 miles and states as such on the title. If your looking for a solid little car just to cruise in or make into a show car this one would be the one you would want! This auction is listed at a no reserve, and I will sell it to the highest bidder!!! im starting the bid at only $2,600.00 wich is very low for what the car is worth, i have the car for sale local for alot more than this starting bid, so if there are no bids and someone shows up with cash this auction will end with out notice ! But if there is a single bid placed i will take the car off the market and it will be sold to the highest bidder at the end of this auction so dont wait till the last day to bid it might be gone !!!
