1985 Honda 250sx

The Honda 250sx 3 wheeler was only sold in the United States during 1985 - 1987. I started collecting these bikes a few years ago and was able to obtain a 1985 and 1986 in near mint condition However, I have been unable to secure a 1987 to meet my expectations. I've decided to sell both bikes on Ebay. This 1985 was purchased from the original owner in North Carolina in 2006. When purchased it still had the original tires with over 1/2 tread. I replaced due to dry rotten. I replace with Carlislie Trail Pro rear tires and the original stock front tire. As you can see in the pictures, the tires are brand new. Since I've owned the bike, it has never been off the grass or driven by anyone but myself. I do run the bike 5 or 6 times a year to keep everything lubed and moving. The bike is fully functional. Everything works exactly as it did 25 years ago when it was driven off the showroom floor. It does have a dead battery and some some minor plastic scratches from the previous owner. Considering it is 25 years old, it is in excellent shape. This Honda 250SX has 5 forward gears and reverse. It is shaft driven, with electric start and kick starter. Headlight and tail lights function. This bike starts very easy and does not smoke or knock. Starts within 2 or 3 kicks but also has electric start. All parts on the bike are 100% stock with the exception of the rear tires and battery. Carb is drained after each use and gas treatment is present at all times. Some of the pictures make the plastic appear to be faded but it is only the sunlight reflection. All plasic is still bright red and has always been stored inside. From the legal department: A $250 deposit must be made through Paypal within 24 hours of the close of the auction. Final payment must be arranged with seller, at which time a bill of sale will be produced. Full payment must be received within 7 days of the close of the auction. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping arrangements. All sales are final and bike is sold in "AS IS" condition. This is truly a super nice bike and I hate to let it go.
