Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1984 Pontiac Indy Fiero. This car had a minor engine fire, the previous owner had parked it in some tall grass. The heat from the catalytic convertor set the grass on fire under the car which burnt the wiring and the A/C lines. The fire department then saw fit to use an axe to gain access to the engine compartment. Long story short, the decklid has been replaced, the wiring harness has been repaired but the A/C lines have not. The car does run but stumbles at anything over about 2000 rpm. By looking at the pattern from the fuel injector, I'd say it needs to be replaced. The ecu does not throw any codes. The clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder have been replaced as has the radiator. The rear brake calipers are leaking and as a result, the car does not stop. The interior is in ok shape for a car of this age, my intent was to restore it but time and finances do not allow for it. It has the correct, Indy Pace Car interior. Grey leather with red carpet and red pallex cloth inserts on the seats. The car has every option except cruise control. 2.5L iron duke engine with 4-speed manual transmission. The odometer reads 140268.0 KM The car has a clear title and comes with the original owner's manual. The car is not driveable, you will need a tow truck or trailer to get it home. I also have a few spare parts that will be included with the car. Car must be picked up within 7 days of auction close. This car is #1814 out of a total production of 2000, it is one of the 200 export cars built for Canada. More information on the Indy Fiero can be found at www.fieropacecar.com This car needs a new caretaker since I don't have the time to take proper care of it. Own a piece of Indianapolis Motor Speedway history. This was the smallest car to pace Indy and the only four cylinder to pace the brickyard since the 1920's. Thanks for looking, good luck and happy bidding.
