I NEED THIS SOLD ASAP - MAKE ME AN OFFER!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -=: PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS VERY CAREFULL - ALL BIDS ARE FINAL :=- You are bidding on a 1992 Dodge Ram W-150 1/2 ton with the fuel injected Dodge Magnum V8 engine hi-low on-the-fly four wheel drive, power windows/locks, 5-speed manual transmission, cruise control, towing package I will deliver within reason at your expense. Call me for more information and/or if you want to see the truck up close. If you're in the area, I'll bring it to you to test drive. Winning bidder must pay half of the winning bid within 24 hours of auction close via paypal. If you are picking it up, then you cab pay the other half when you pick it up, otherwise, you must pay half within 24 hours of auction close and the other half before the delivery company picks it up. I'd like to have everything taken care of by Oct 1st, but I am willing to work with you on pickup/delivery. Let's start with the bad and get it out of the way, I do hope you stick around for the good though. She has some bad patch jobs where she was rusted through, but only on the body. This has typical 90's Dodge peeling paint and it rusted out in some spots. Some of the spots were patched with fiberglass and some with welds, but honestly none of it is pretty. It's an easy fix if you intend on restoring her, but if you're going to use her as an old farm truck, then who cares right? The frame is SOLID. The bed is solid. I paid $1100 for her back in March... the problem was that there had been a fire in the engine bay due to a bad fuel line connection. It burnt everything under the hood. However, I spent almost $1000 repairing the damage alone. Please see "the good stuff" to see the repairs and upgrades. Cruise control module is bad. Anti-lock brakes were disabled by previous owner so the warning light for the brakes stay on. I left it this way because I do alot of towing and I am old-school... I'm not a huge fan of ABS's. Obviously, the braking system still funtions just fine otherwise you couldn't drive it and I drove her everyday until I finished my most recent project a couple weeks ago. Windshield has some welding splatter marks on it. Interior has some welding splatter marks and some stains. No crazy tears or anything though and a good shampooing would do wonders. Passenger side of truck bed has a big dent, but it can be easily popped out if you take the bed off.... it's like 4 bolts seriously, but I really didn't mind the dent. She was my work truck. She could use paint - but again that's only if you're intending on fixing her up to take to shows or something. She's a perfect work truck and everything "wrong" as you can see above is mostly cosmetic. Speedometer works but odometer broke. Apparently this is a common factory defect. It worked all of about a week once I got her running again before the odometer quit working on me. I've MAYBE put 3-4k on her, but I changed the oil anyways just in case. The Good!! She is SOLID! Lots of engine work. All new sensors (too many to list), new upgraded intake gasket and plenum from Hughes, tuned up in June (everything). New Fuel Pump New water Pump All new fuel lines She fires up and runs great. Dependable. AC recently had $800 of work done on it by previous owner. I can give you their contact information. She blows ice cold air, but could maybe use a $20 refill can dumped in. Heat works as well. CD/MP3 player with input jack on the front of it. (Gotta be honest though, the speakers suck) 4x4 works great Look, I paid $1100 for her and dropped about $1200 in parts and upgrades alone. Those sensors were not cheap... so that's $2300 I have into her and that doesn't include labor or the AC work. All that's left is the cosmetic stuff. I knew what I was getting myself into when I bought the truck - I knew I'd lose money on it unless I painted it... but I needed something to get me by. Now, I need the cash to finish my house and I don't have time to finish her up and you benefit because I need the cash right away. The engine alone with all the work done on it and as good as it runs is worth 1k alone.... the 4x4 setup is worth that much. If I stripped her down and sold everything and scrapped the rest - I know I could bring in 3-4k easy. BUT, I don't have the time right now. I need cash now, so today is your lucky day.... my loss is your gain. I'm telling you, this truck will haul ass and pull over a house. She just looks a little rough around the edges. She has some minor issues but she's almost 20 years old. She's a gret truck. I promise. The tool box does NOT come with the truck, sorry. But if you're interested in a chrome roll bar - I'd throw it in. ANY QUESTIONS??? ASK BEFORE BIDDING!! The_Mavericke@hotmail.com or call Chas at (309)299-4825 Bid with confidence from a 10 year eBay veteran. If someone is interested in having her painted - I have a shop and I can do so relatively cheap. It would take up to two weeks and I would need a larger desposit to pick up materials. She has been painted before, she was original silver. The blue is aftermarket that I did NOT do. I can probably do a paint job for about $1200 depending on whether or not I paint the door jams and the kind of paint you want. I have described this truck as best as I can. I am an avid backyard mechanic and I work on cars on a daily basis, but I have no piece of paper saying I am a professional. She is being sold as-is. I just wanted to clear that up due to a couple questions I got. She's a tough machine though - I guarantee it. I love this truck and I always wanted a Dodge Pickup... it pains me to let her go, but my family is relying on me to finish the house we're living in so that it can be refinanced. I'm down to the wire and I need the cash to get her finished up - heck, I've been down to the wire for a year now lol... but there's always something isn't there? Bid with confidence. She's a good truck... and besides, she's a mopar pickup designed by old AMC engineers - you know she'll run forever! ;)
