****************************PLEASE READ THE AD CAREFULLY********************* 1993 Geo Metro 2dr hatchback. Clean title, 164K miles, runs good, excellent gas mileage (45-50 mpg according kbb website) I replaced the timing belt and waterpump, and changed the ignition wires. Car has good tires, good body, good paint and good interior. Other than that, this is your basic strip down model with no other comfort feature. Car has a clean title. The previous owner wasnt using the car so they did a non op at the dmv so only $67 to register. Please e-mail me and i can give you the license plate number and the vin # so you can verify this before bidding. I got this info on the DMV website. The only bad things about the car are all minor cosmetics...needs a passenger window handle (handle is missing) The driver side window is stiff to roll up and down, probably needs lube. The turnsignals work but needs a new flasher (it buzzez and its very annoying) Needs an antenna for the radio, Right front turn signal lens is cracked. The windshield has a crack across it. The car sat for years and the fuel is old in the car... it has that varnish smell to it. Its causing the check engine light to come on. Ill try to drain it if i find a suitable container, but no promises. The only reason im getting rid of this car is my in laws decided to purchase a brand new car and i inherited their old honda civic which has alot of modern comfort features, therefore, i have no use for this vehicle. This car is being sold "as-is" meaning what you see is what you get. I know about "sellers responsiblity to smog" I am not smogging the car, i commute everyday and simply dont have time to run to the dmv and get a moving permit to drive this to the smog center. Again...AS-IS!!! If you are not comfortable with this please please please buy from someone else!!! I do not know anything about the history of this car other than what i see now. I have driven the car inside our gated community and it runs good, shifts, fine no smoke or hesitation. I did sneak out the car one evening and drove it down a country road and did 75mph with no problem. Other than that i cant tell you anything else. No shipping on this auction, you are responsible for picking up the vehicle. I will require require a $200 payment at the end of auction and will not refund this because you changed your mind!!! Feel free to come by and test drive the car before you bid, but i will not refund you your deposit if you decide not to get it.
