This is a very nice and clean 2001 Outback. I am selling for a friend of the family. They are the original owner. The car will be sold in a NO RESERVE auction. Bid to buy, no games here. The car has always been serviced at the dealer and there is a large envelope full of most (if not all) of the receipts from the cars life. Regular oil changes, scheduled services at the dealer, tires, repairs, and so forth. It has all of the original manuals, paperwork, and installation guides/manuals for the Subaru OEM dealer installed accessories (CD player, roof rack cross bars, rear window dust deflector, rear hatch grab bar, Subaru alarm/keyless system, and more I believe). The car comes with 3 keys, 2 of which are newer Subaru, one that is a Ilco copy. There is one keyless entry remote that is basically new and works well. The car has a clear Michigan title, ready for the next buyer. The body of the car is decent but not impeccable. It looks as if at one point there was some sort of bump/oops on the front passenger corner. The bumper fit is not perfect and the fender has been repaired and painted but up close it doesn't match the quality of the rest of the car. There are also some dings, chips, and scuffs. There is a dent maybe 1/4 inch impression and tennis ball size on the rear corner. Looks great from 10 feet away but shows that it is 9 years old+ now when up closer. The wheels look good but have some corrosion spots as seen in the photo's. d Still shines great and looks really respectable. All of the lights, signals, fog lamps, are good. The interior is clean and I believe has always been a non smoker. There are OEM subaru floor mats on all corners except the drivers is missing. All of the switches, seat warmers, buttons, etc. are all there and in good condition. Power drivers seat, manual on the passenger side. Has the auto dimming optional rear view mirror. The drivers side door panel has a few marks near the handle. Looks like from their dog possibly? Should be visible in the pictures. All the features seem to work as do all the lights. The heat is hot and all blower speeds work. The A/C is really cold, easy to see 40 degree vent temps. No rips or tears, big stains, spills or things of that nature. Looks nice and is clean. The car just turned 100,000 miles and is mechanically in really nice condition. Has the H-4 subaru 2.5 engine and the automatic transmission. All wheel drive, unreal in the snow. All scheduled services have been done by the dealer to date. Runs well and drives just as nicely. Has good power, is smooth and quiet, and tracks straight down the road with no pulling or shaking. The underside is clean and free of any dripping. The brake rotors and pads were just replaced both front and rear- still not fully broken in. The tires are Kelly's with ~50-60% tread. It has a Draw-tite hitch that is a 1" receiver. Has the 2" ball attachment also. I think it was used to haul a Uhaul trailer a few times- seemed to work well enough. Lots of miles left in it- I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car across the country. Just had a general inspection of all fluids, drive, exhaust, and so forth and had an oil/filter change. This car has lots of life left for the next owner. It's ready to go! I can help assist with shipping and getting the car loaded if that's something you would want to do.
