Vehicle Detail
I am selling my Datsun wagon in a no reserve auction. This was meant to eventually be my next project. I don't need the money due to a lay-off, pregnant female, new project, or anything other reason, I have 3 other Datsuns that I need to focus on, so the goon goes. Right now she is my daily driver, she's good for a jaunt to work or to the hardware store, but I would not autocross her in her current condition. She's definitely a project, but one you could ride and restore. PLEASE READ the auction details carefully! This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION, if you bid, you might just win it. Starts, runs, and drives fine. Shimmy between 30-45 MPH like an alignment is needed. I replaced the right lower ball joint. So some suspension and steering work is in order. Its the L18 motor with the 4 speed gearbox. All the glass is there. All the windows roll up and down. But the back door outer latches on both sides do NOT open the back doors - you have to open them from the inside. I hear this is a common problem, but it never bothered me, so I never fixed it. The rear hatch is functional. Wipers, lights, and blinkers work, though there is no turn signal lever... No radio. Or horn. Here's a shot of the passenger seat. It needs recovered. The drivers seat is a 240SX seat I am told. These are the wheels that come with the car. (NOTE- the turbine wheels that are on the car DO NOT go with the car - they are for my other 510 - I'm keeping them.) You get these if you win the auction. The main issue with this car is that you can see the road through the floor pans. I am also selling this locally, so I could end the auction early. I'm on email every day- so ask any questions you may have (I'm sure I left something out) and I'll respond within 24 hours.
