For sale: 1978 Ford F-150 I do not want to sell this truck, but certain circumstances require it. I'm selling my restored 1978 F150 long bed in Very Good condition. It has an insane 472 cubic inch big block, 33 inch tires, a 4 inch lift, and is simply a beautiful truck. The truck is to be sold as is, and has no warranty. I can deliver within the Eastern US for an appropriate fee. I can be reached at eric.lerner12.5@gmail.com if you have any questions. Happy Bidding! The Good: 1978 F-150 Single Cab 4x4 Clean New York State title Full size 8 foot bed Barnett High Performance 472 cubic inch Big Block .600 Lift Hydraulic Roller Cam 4 speed manual transmission (1st is a granny gear) Heavy Duty L&L Clutch and 40LB. Flywheel assembly ($660) 2 tone gun-metal gray and blue paint Restored by previous owner Locking front hubs 33 inch tires with 90% tread life Interior is rhino lined and has no carpeting 4 inch lift kit 550+ horse power 600+ ft/lbs torque L & L Long tube headers through dual exhaust with dual mufflers Optima Red Top battery New K&N air filter and filter lid Only ran on Royal Purple synthetic motor oil (90 miles since changed) New timing cover and gaskets New oil pan gasket New plugs New B&M shifter handle Re-cored radiator and all new coolant and thermostat Eclipse CD Player and door speakers Tinted/Sliding/Locking rear window (not stock) Garage kept Does NOT see snow Does NOT get taken offroad The truck comes with a C6 automatic transmission, another transfer case, and an original automatic steering column. I was going to do the swap to an automatic to get the most out of the engine's power, however time and many other constraints prevented me from doing so. The Bad: The transfer case doesn't like going into 4 High. It drives all day long in 2 Hi or 4 Low, but I think the transfer case has just seen better days and should be swapped. There is no headliner, but I'm sure you can pick one up for around a 100 bucks somewhere The seat needs to be reupholstered, but I put a nice black seat cover on it, and it does the trick The trim around the cd player is cracked
