Vehicle Detail
The odomoter shows 46,290 but it's mileage exempt due to it's age so I have no idea if it's actual or not. It does run, but it needs a new fuel pump, battery, exhaust, and clutch to make it roadworthy. It does have the overdrive transmission, but I can't get it up to road speed so I don't know if it kicks in or not. The interior floors are very, very solid. The only rust issues are on the outside mainly on the lower wings. The rockers have some paint bubbling up, but feel solid when you tap on them. The paint and interior are well worn and need attention. The rear window is out of the top and there's a tear in the canvas at the lower RH corner of the rear window. Otherwise the rest of the canvas is in nice shape and the fit is snug. Someone tried to replace the radio so a few of the switches and gauges have been removed, but it looks like they're all there and will go with the car. The tires are in really nice shape, but I don't know how old they are. It also had a brand new gas tank and electronic ignition installed. The brakes work as does the clutch hydralics/slave cylinder. The transmission shifts easily, but the clutch disc must be completly burned out 'cause it barely moves when it's engaged. They installed some type of high volume fuel pump and it keeps flooding out the stock carb. They tried to put on a fuel pressure regulator, but it doesn't seem to work that well. I think if you go back to the stock type fuel pump it'll solve the stalling issue. I've already got a couple of MG projects I'm working and would like to sell this one to someone with the time to fix it up. Please feel free to email with any questions. Shipping/picking up the vehicle is the responsibility of the buyer, we will be able to help load the vehicle if needed. This is being sold AS IS with absolutely no warranty expressed or implied.
