Vehicle Detail
Good day ! I got this truck on craigslist a couple months ago. I bought it as something dependable to get me back and forth to work while, having a classic old truck that I can start fixing up in my garage. My fiance and I found out that we are expecting a little boy early next year, so I need to sell this truck and buy something more kid friendly. The truck is in great shape and I am sad to see it go. The previous owner did a great job with the doors, cab, and hood. All rust free, straight, solid and painted red/black. It is not show quality, but looks great, and it gets tons of compliments everywhere I drive. The engine is a very strong running inline 6 that runs great and gets excellent milage. I drive this truck, to and from work every day and run around town on the weekends. The gas tank has been replaced and is located behind the seat. there is a newer red top, optima dry cell battery. The 3 on the tree took a little bit to get used to, but it shifts very smoothly. I recently had my mechanic check the truck out, and he said it is mechanically a great truck. It does not leak or burn a drop of oil! The previous owner did a new exhaust system and also did the brakes. I have rewired all the headlights, taillights, brake lights, etcetera, but have not connected the speedometer cable yet. The truck has the original key to start it and comes with the orginal locks that are not installed, but they are sitting in the ash tray. I park in the garage so I didn't ever get around to putting the locks on. The windshield and driver window are cracked, but I have replacements for both, that I will include. I have not had time to install them. The bed is straight and has potential, but does have some normal rust though that you may want to fix it. I sanded it a little, and rattle canned it black and threw the bed topper on it. Looks fine to me and I had no intention of fixing the rust or holes in the bed. This is all around a solid running truck ready to be a daily driver or worked further toward restoration. It is going to make some lucky buyer very happy. Please feel free to email me with any questions on the truck at tlaible@summit-wa.com. I will respond Buyer to pick up or arrange shipping, or I may be willing to deliver it to you for a fee.
