1980 Datsun 280ZX Coupe Long nose and short rear, an automotive formula that worked for many of the most beautiful moving art as shown by Jaguar E-Type or XKE. Datsun was greatly inspired by this design when they created the Datsun Z's and its lines still stirr awe to bystanders. This car originally introduced to the United States in 1971, put Datsun on the map. Now one of the top five automotive importers in America, Nissan is know for quality and innovation throughout the world. Buy a piece of history with this beautiful example of Sports Car engineering and sexy design. 1980 wow that's 30 years ago that this car was imported to the US. This is probably one of the prettiest colors you will find for a 280ZX and lucky this is a 2 seater and not the somewhat less easy on the eye 2+2's. Being a 5 speed this car has no problems somewhat associated with the auto boxes. The engine is running properly, starts with the first crank and idles up very smoothly. This vehicle has a smooth shifting transmission and a strong clutch. This beauty has every electronic equipment working in perfect order. All warning lights are there including the multi-colored diagnostic system shown on pictures. Not a single scratch on the dash. This can very be one of the lowest and cleanest 280ZX in the country. The exterior and the interior also looks very close to the day this car rolled out of the Datsun dealership. The paint is absolutely original and I will suggest any skeptic to bring over a paint meter or have this car inspected because this one is a real treat. Rust, what is rust? The velour interior which are not known to hold well with age is showing you how this car was maintained all these years, right under a garage and driven an average of 733 miles per year wow. Everything in the car is original, radio works well and the power antenna extends to full length to help its reception. The power windows are faster than my contemporary cars and AC blows so cold that I always wondered how it holds the freon so well all these years, I suppose its testament to sound engineering.
